Stacey and Wesley were married at Cupids Garden, Burpengary, on Sunday 14 June 2009. The happy couple choose this date as it is also their parents wedding anniversary and Grandmothers birthday. Following a beautiful ceremony at Cupids, we then travelled to Taringa Park at Scarborough to capture some stunning sunset photos before heading to the reception at Sunset Blue. We’d like to thank Stacey and Wesley for allowing us to be part of their special day. Here are a few of your pics from the day.

What a weekend! We had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie and Liam’s wedding on Saturday 6 June at Cedric Archer Park in Gracemere, followed by a reception at the Rockhampton Leagues Club. After a beautiful wedding day, we made the journey down to Lammermoor Beach in Yeppoon on Sunday to photograph a Trash The Dress session. We had a great weekend hanging out with Stephanie and Liam and we’d like to wish you all of the very best. Here are a few images from the weekend – hope you enjoy the sneak peak.

Libby and Sean decided to hold their wedding ceremony on Sunday 12 April at the Albert St Uniting Church followed with a reception at the Royal on the Park. The church itself was stunning and the staff at the Royal on the Park did a fabulous job. While the day did start out with a bit of rain, it cleared up for what ended up being a lovely afternoon.
Tina (my wife and assistant photographer) managed to gain approval to take some photographs at Parliament House and it really made for some gorgeous shots. The rest of our location spots were within the Brisbane City Gardens and finally along Eagle St Pier for a few night shots in front of the Story Bridge.
Overall, a great day was had by all and we’d like to thank Libby and Sean for allowing us to be part of their day. We wish you every success in your married life together and hope you enjoy your photos.

After arriving home from shooting Wendy and Brad’s Wedding in Rockhampton and just starting to relax, Brisbane decided to turn on the fireworks with a large storm rolling over the city. I have always had an interest in trying to capture that elusive lightning bolt. There truly is an art to getting a good shot of a lightning bolt.
Here are a couple shots taken from my front balcony.
