Well, it started out with an odd email coming from ABIA stating that we had been registered in the awards. Upon further investigation, it appears we were entered by one of our brides. From there on we have had several brides vote for us and now we are a Queensland finalist for this years awards. As a result of this, we are off to a dinner at the Royal on the Park this Tuesday night for the awards. We will let you know how we go. Fingers crossed. And a big THANK-YOU to the brides who voted for us.
Vicky and Jordan had their wedding day on the 30th November 2008. The ceremony was at the International City Church, and the reception was at Gianni Portside. The ceremony was beautiful and even included a band on stage, projected image of events and an impressive lighting setup. After arriving home from shooting Wendy and Brad’s Wedding in Rockhampton and just starting to relax, Brisbane decided to turn on the fireworks with a large storm rolling over the city. I have always had an interest in trying to capture that elusive lightning bolt. There truly is an art to getting a good shot of a lightning bolt. Here are a couple shots taken from my front balcony.
