Brooke and Ben were married on the riverside lawn at Eves on the River, Brisbane on Saturday the 30th of April 2011.

Brooke and her bridesmaid prepared at the Medina Apartments with a spectacular view of the Brisbane Story Bridge. On arriving at Eves we had thundering clouds at the time of the ceremony but we were lucky with a rain free afternoon to watch the couple tie the knot. After the ceremony we took the location photos around the woolstores at Teneriffe.

Reception was also held at Eves on the River and we hung around for the full reception and captured some great dance moves throughout the night.

Linda and Hugh were married at the spectacular St John’s Cathedral in Brisbane on the 5th March 2011. Despite the heavy rain the day before we were lucky with only a couple of showers throughout the day. When the girls were all ready with time to spare, they jumped in the limousine with Mike from Brisbane VIP Limousines and headed to St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane. On arriving at St John’s, Hugh was patiently waiting and the nerves were definitely set in.

After the couple said their I do’s it was time for the photos with the bridal party. First stop was a favourite of ours over at Newfarm where the trees provide a full canopy above the road. From there we went to the wonderful Roma Street Parklands where we had some great backdrops for photos. Then finished with the sun going down at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs.

Our lucky last wedding for 2010 was the wedding of Cherie and Josh on Saturday 18 December.

The happy couple were married at the Apostolic Church at Norwell, followed by a wonderful reception at Sirromet Winery.

The weather certainly wasn’t playing nicely for their big day however we were fortunate enough to get a few breaks in the rain and the photos are just stunning. We may be a little biased though.

Cherie and Josh had one of our biggest bridal parties to date and everyone was fantastic. One of our favorite moments was when we were photographing the boys only to have the girls chuck on their gumboots and run through the boys like crazy women – was pretty funny and made for some cool shots.

We were also very chuffed with all of the wonderful feedback when received on our little slideshow that we created at the reception. We sometimes surprise our brides by showing a few images from their day and this certainly turned out to be a hit with the guests. Thanks again to everyone for your kind feedback.

Tina would also like to say a very special thank you to Cherie, Josh, their bridal party and all of their family and friends for such a great day. This was Tina’s very last wedding for sometime now as we await the arrival of our little bundle of joy, who is due on 8 March 2011.

From both Tina and I, we’d like to wish Cherie and Josh all the very best for their future together.

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Lucy and Brad on Saturday 23 Oct at the Powerhouse Museum in New Farm. After having many rainy weekends in Sept/Oct this year,  we were over the moon to wake up to a beautiful spring day.

After a lovely morning photographing the girls getting ready at Lucy and Brad’s place,  we headed over to the Powerhouse to capture some images of Brad and the guests waiting for the gorgeous bride to arrive.

Lucy and Brad had a wonderful ceremony and one of our favourite parts of our job is to capture the real emotion that you see from a couple as they take each others hand in marriage.

Once the happy couple had been announced as man and wife,  we gathered all of the guests for a large group shot before capturing some formal family photographs.

The Powerhouse and New Farm Park provided us with some wonderful photo opportunities and the couple even managed to flag down a police car for a quick photo.  Thanks goes out to the officers who were more than happy to oblige.  One of the groomsmen even provided us with a good few laughs after a crow decided to deposit some “good luck” down the front of his shirt – very lucky our lovely bride wasn’t standing in that spot!

We stayed on to photograph some images of the couple and their guests as they celebrated Lucy and Brad’s reception which was also held at the Powerhouse.  This was a great little venue and Lucy’s candy table was a big hit with the guests.  Lucy and Brad’s family and friends also gave some pretty funny speeches so there was lots of laughter throughout the night.

We’d like to say a big thanks to Lucy and Brad for allowing us to be part of their special day.  We truly enjoyed photographing their wedding and we hope you enjoy the sneak peak at their images below.

Karen and Mathew’s big day finally arrived on Saturday 16 Oct and there was hardly a cloud in the sky.  Although,  it was a crazy windy day!

The happy couple had decided to hold their ceremony and reception at the Indooroopilly Golf Club and what a fabulous setting for your wedding photographs.

After Karen and Mathew were introduced as husband and wife,  we all jumped in the buggies and headed out on the golf course to capture some images of the newly married couple. Everyone had a great time and a few of the boys had a bit too much fun,  racing each other on the fairway! There was also some scary driving from some of the girls,  but we won’t mention names

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Cilla and Scott on Sunday 12 September 2010.

The happy couple decided to hold their ceremony at the Greek Orthodox Southside Parish and followed with a gorgeous reception at Customs House.

When we arrived to start Cilla’s prep photos,  the girls were super organised and were looking beautiful in their dresses.  Cilla’s family home certainly gave us a lovely backdrop for Cilla’s prep photos.

After a traditional Greek ceremony and plenty of congratulations from proud family and friends,  we all headed over to Customs house to commence some location photos.  Customs House is a great spot for photos and Cilla was absolutely stoked when she found out Customs House was finally available for their special day.

We had a fantastic day with Cilla and Scott and would like to say a big thanks for allowing us to be part of their special day.

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Damien and Katrina on Saturday 26 June 2010.

We’ve known that happy couple for many many years and they decided to hold their ceremony and reception at Ferns Hideaway in Byfield. This is a lovely little country retreat around 40min drive from Yeppoon in Central Qld.

Damien and Katrina both spent the morning in their own little cabins at Ferns and we arrived around lunch time to find a very calm Damien. He was wandering about the grounds making sure that everything was ready for his bride to be and we even had to give him a little nudge to head to his cabin so that we could take some photos of the boys getting ready.

Katrina was a fantastic bride and was super organised. We just love brides that give us a detailed list of what they want…makes our job that much easier!

The girls were pretty much ready when we arrived to start on their preperation photos so we were able to focus on getting Katrina into that gorgeous dress.

After the happy couple had said their i-do’s and we’d photographed the very important family photos, we headed off to take some bridal party shots at a few locations which Katrina had picked out. We had a great time photographing the location pics and Katrina had a great idea of incorporating sparklers, which was stacks of fun. We even had Tina and the groomsmen running circles around the couple, which was hilarious.

A few weeks ago we had a fun filled afternoon photographing some engagement shots with Sarah and Tim and Friday 11 June 2010 finally saw the arrival of their big day.

We arrived at Sarah’s house around 12 noon to find a very cool, calm and collected bride to be. Sarah was totally excited and couldn’t believe that she was about to marry Tim. We spent about 1.5 hrs with the girls while they were glamming it up and Sarah looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous wedding dress. Of course the bridesmaids looked smashing too but hey, no one can out do a bride!

As always, I gave Sarah a last minute pep talk on what to do when she arrived at the ceremony location and the very last thing Sarah said to me was “please tell Tim I love him” – too cute

Sarah and Tim decided to hold their wedding at Walk About Creek and we arrived to a warm welcome from Tim and his Groomsmen who were greeting their guests as they arrived. I’m sure Tim got a kick out of me passing on the “Sarah loves you” message.

Gosh, were to start with an explanation of their ceremony…..

I have to say that Sarah and Tim had one of the most special ceremonies that we’ve had the pleasure of photographing. They were both so emotional throughout the entire ceremony and Tim was in tears even before his gorgeous bride had made her way down the isle – don’t know what it is but seeing a groom cry as his bride makes her way to take his hand is just so beautiful.

Sarah and Tim even wrote their own vows which was very sweet. There probably aren’t the words to explain how special their ceremony was so we’ll let the photos do the talking….they certainly speak a thousand words.

After the group/family shots were taken, we made a quick dash up to Jolly’s lookout to capture some location photos. It was a really great spot for photos with a gorgeous backdrop overlooking the Samford Valley.

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Peta and Abs on Saturday 10 April.

The happy couple decided to hold their ceremony and reception at Giannis Portside and not only did they have their family and friends there to witness their vows but an entire P&O cruise liner. They certainly received a huge round of applause!

Following the ceremony, we headed off to Captain Burke Park for some location pics and then over to Wilsons Lookout to capture the Story Bridge at night.

The big day finally arrived for Kylie and Mark on Saturday 20 February 2010.

We started out the day with the girls at the Marriott Hotel before heading over to Brents at Toowong to meet up with Mark while he was waiting for his gorgeous bride to arrive.

Kylie and Mark’s wedding ceremony was one to remember, especially with Mark signing a personalised version of “Feels Like Home” to Kylie as she walked down the isle. This was a huge surprise for Kylie and was absolutely beautiful. The happy couple also kept their vows a secret and it was magic watching their faces as they heard each others words for the first time.

Following the ceremony, we headed off to UQ at St Lucia for some location photos.  This is a gorgeous spot for location photos and I think the images speak for themselves.

The reception was also held at Brents Restaurant and everyone had a fabulous evening.  The speeches were great,  the food was fantastic and the irish band/dancing….just perfect.

We’d also like to say a special thanks to Jason from City Coast Limousines and Brent/Alex and the staff at Brents.
