Wedding of Sarah and Steve – Saturday 14 January 2012 After a little break over Christmas, we hit the ground running with our very first wedding for 2012 on Saturday 14th January. Sarah and Steve decided to hold their ceremony and reception at the beautiful grounds of the Redland Bay Golf Club and it certainly was a gorgeous spot for a wedding. We often get to share in many funny little moments at each wedding we photograph and for Sarah and Steve’s wedding – we had to giggle at Sarah’s “to do list” for her groom-to-be. There was no way…

Heron Island Wedding Photographers Cheeky Groom + Gorgeous Bride + Heron Island = Bewdiful Destination Wedding!!!!!!! So Tina, Isaac and I were off to Heron Island this past weekend to photograph the wedding of Courtney and Calum on the 15th October 2011.  This was Isaac’s very first destination wedding (although he’s a bit little to shoot yet….give him another year or two!) and Tina’s first shoot back after welcoming our little monster into our lives.  Eight months is a lot of creative energy build up for Tina so she couldn’t wait to get snapping away. After a plane trip and…

Wedding of Samantha & Justin at Woody Point

This has certainly been a very “wet” wedding season for spring 2010 and the rain was still about on Friday 15 Oct which saw the arrival of Sam and Justin’s special day. The happy couple had selected Scarborough as the location for their nuptials however wet weather caused a change in plans and the ceremony ended up taking place at the Belvedere Hotel at Woody Point. This was also the location for the couple’s reception and certainly is a great venue. Fortunately the weather did give us a few moments of light sprinkles so the happy couple and their bridal…

Suzy & Fred’s Wedding at Mooloolaba

A gorgeous 4th July afternoon at Mooloolaba set the scene for the wedding of the lovely Suzy and Fred. The happy couple decided to hold their ceremony at the See Plus Function Centre followed by a reception on Australia Zoo’s whale watching boat, Steve’s Whale One. Following a beautiful ceremony, we wandered over to a small park adjoining the Marina for some location photos before boarding Steve’s Whale One for a wonderful reception as the sun slowly set over the mainland. We’d like to thank Suzy and Fred for allowing us to be part of their special day and we…

Well, it started out with an odd email coming from ABIA stating that we had been registered in the awards. Upon further investigation, it appears we were entered by one of our brides. From there on we have had several brides vote for us and now we are a Queensland finalist for this years awards. As a result of this, we are off to a dinner at the Royal on the Park this Tuesday night for the awards. We will let you know how we go. Fingers crossed. And a big THANK-YOU to the brides who voted for us.
