She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene I said don’t mind, but what do you mean I am the one Who will dance on the floor in the round She said I am the one, who will dance on the floor in the round Just one of the great songs played at the reception of Astrid & David’s wedding. Their special day started at the Surfair Marcoola on a bright and beautiful sunny day. The day started out with some preparation photos of the boys in the penthouse suite. Wedding of Cherie & Josh, Brisbane

Our lucky last wedding for 2010 was the wedding of Cherie and Josh on Saturday 18 December. The happy couple were married at the Apostolic Church at Norwell, followed by a wonderful reception at Sirromet Winery. The weather certainly wasn’t playing nicely for their big day however we were fortunate enough to get a few breaks in the rain and the photos are just stunning. We may be a little biased though. Cherie and Josh had one of our biggest bridal parties to date and everyone was fantastic. One of our favorite moments was when we were photographing the boys…

We attended the wedding of another fantastic couple on Saturday 27 Nov with Elizabeth and James taking each other’s hand in marriage. When we arrived to start the prep photos with Liz and…

Emma and the girls were running a little behind schedule with their hair and makeup (can’t rush these things!) so Emma’s Mum and Dad gladly let us get cracking on photographing the dress etc while we waited for the girls to arrive. It wasn’t long before a very nervous Emma arrived with her girls and cracked…

Bottle Opening of the Year

We get to see quite a few champagne bottle openings when photographing weddings. I usually try to take a sequence of photos to show some of the action. This one is from Caroline and Drew’s wedding and would have to be given the prestigious award of “Champagne Bottle Opening of the Year” in my opinion. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year.
