Lisa and Rodney had their wedding on the 13th September 2008. The ceremony was held at “The Earl Tree” at the Rockhampton Botanical Gardens which is located further up the hill from the Japanese gardens. We then had plenty of time for location shots which were taken at Kershaw Gardens, The Criterion Hotel, Rockhampton Riverbank and of course the reception location which was Centre Point. After it poured down rain the entire day of Yaping and Brad’s wedding, we decided to head out to the Mt Cootha gardens a couple weeks later. Brisbane turned on the weather and we had beautiful blue skies. Yaping and Brad got dressed up again in their wedding gear and had make up and hair all done again. Enough of the chit chat. Another year another Riverfire! Well, it’s been 3 years since I attended the last one due to other commitments. The weather was great and we had the best position in Brisbane (thats just my opinion anyway). Enough of the chitchat, here’s some pictures. Click here to leave a comment.
We had last weekend off so decided to take a drive to Byron Bay with our friends Lydia and Jason and of course, the dog. We did the standard visit to the lighthouse then had lunch on the beach. I also stitched together another panorama of Byron Bay. This one is made up of 8 photographs taken at 1/160, f13 @ 24mm. We took the coast route home and called into Point Danger to check out Duranbah Beach and Snapper Rocks etc. While at Point Danger we happen to spot a couple dolphins playing in the surf.
