I’ve been looking forward to the wedding of Laura & Sam for a while as I have known Sam for a few years. I was honoured when Sam asked me to photograph his wedding as he was a keen photographer years ago and it’s always nice to be appreciated by others who know the industry. I met up with Laura and her bridesmaids at Wallaby Ridge Retreat which is an awesome spot just up the road from Albert River Wines. Wallaby Ridge Retreat had plenty of space for the girls to get ready with beautiful lavender gardens and of course, wallabies. I arrived as the girls were getting their makeup finished and grabbed some shots of the dress and the details. After that it was time to get everybody dressed and get some photos before bolting out the door to meet up with Sam and the boys at Albert River Wines.

Sam was a little nervous as expected but after a few photos he relaxed a little and mingled with family and friends. Laura arrived in style in a stunning 1954 Cadillac Fleetwood and was ready to go after her father helped her out. Lara and Sam said their I’do’s on a beautiful day at Albert River Wines. After the family photos we were off around the grounds for location photos and finished of with photos with the TARDIS that Sam’s Dad built. Check it out below.

Laura and Sam partied on into the night with a couple quick photos outside with the stars and the TARDIS again. It’s great when the couples also love my night wedding shots. I try to make it as quick and painless as possible.

Thank-you for allowing me to capture your wedding day.
