Toowoomba Wedding Photography

A couple of years ago a nurse called Natalie arrived in a little old town called Miles. While working in Miles, Natalie happened to meet up with a handsome young fellow called Damian. Damian was a doctor in Miles and as they say….the rest is history as the 5th May 2013 was their wedding day.

We met up with Natalie and her Bridesmaids at her home with stunning high raking ceilings and a matching wall of windows looking over the rolling hills of Toowoomba. Natalie and the girls were just getting their hair and makeup finished while we got some photos of the little details. The Bridesmaids got into their Lisa Langhem dresses and then helped Natalie into her gorgeous Alfred Angelo wedding dress. A few tears may have been shed by Natalie’s Mum as she saw her daughter ready to get married.

With the girls ready it was time to head off to Damian and the boys at St Stephen’s church in Toowoomba. Damian was nice and relaxed around the side of the church with his Groomsmen when we arrived. A couple photos of the boys and it was time to head inside.

Natalie walked down the aisle with her proud Dad holding her arm. The ceremony included both the St Stephen’s Minister Andrew Gillies and Ministers Kathy and Jack Hammer who are family friends. After the I-Do’s and the kiss it was time to head off to a wonderful vine covered wall we found when we photographed a previous wedding. The vine was showing it’s autumn colours as the crows pecked away at the berries.

Our second location was Gabbinbar Homestead which is one of our favourite venues. It had only been a month or so since our last wedding at Gabbinbar and Isaac and the team had been busy cleaning out the old stables and adding some antique touches to the grounds. We made our way around the grounds utilising the driveway, the old school, the Brides Preparation room, and out the back to the old stables.

With the location photos done we headed into Gabbinbar to photograph the beautiful Conservatory where the reception was set up. It really is a credit to Isaac and the team on how well it all looked. Natalie and Damian spent the evening wining, dining and spent the time to chat to all of their guests. With the formalities out of the way, the guests danced the night away in the Ballroom to the band.

All the best
